Garden with Insight v1.0 Help: How to see a soil patch from a bird's eye view

The default view for drawing plants in soil patches in the garden window is from the side, as if you were walking around in the garden and maybe squatting down a bit. A more schematic view is from the top, as if you were flying over the garden.

To view a soil patch from the top, choose the change soil patch tool action (probably using the shovel), then in the soil patch basic parameters window, change the Viewing angle to the top option, then click OK.

To create an even more schematic view, choose Draw plants as symbols from the Options menu on the garden window. The following picture shows the most schematic garden you can make (unless you hide the tools by unchecking Show tools on the Options menu).
