Garden with Insight v1.0 Help: Plant params size group

Height maximum when supported: The maximum height attainable by this plant when it is supported.

Height maximum when unsupported: The maximum height attainable by this plant when it is unsupported (on the ground).

Diameter maximum when supported: The diameter of ground covered by this plant when it is mature and supported. This parameter is not used in this version.

Diameter maximum when unsupported: The diameter of ground covered by this plant when it is mature and unsupported (on the ground). This parameter is not used in this version.

Root depth maximum: The maximum root depth this plant is expected to achieve by maturity (heat unit index = 1.0). Affects water uptake (the plant can only take up water from soil layers in which it has roots) and nutrient uptake (which is limited by water uptake).

Root system diameter maximum: Would be used in the same way as maximum root depth (to calculate root system diameter) but not used for anything in this version of the simulation. Possible use in the future for spatial component to plant competition.
