Garden with Insight v1.0 Help: templates

Templates are prototypes from which garden objects are copied. They are like stencils (or cookie cutters) - - you make copies of them when you create a soil patch or plant a seed. They represent types that occur in different areas, like Pennsylvania weather or Arkansas soil, or that have distinguishing characteristics, like pumpkin plants. Templates are kept in library files, are copied into the garden for use, and are copied to produce the weather, soil patch, and plant objects that you harvest.

For more information on using templates, see the sections on the template window, the browser, and the template mover.
