Garden with Insight v1.0 Help: Tool action functions: carry soil

The carry soil function is not in EPIC, but it is patterned on the EPIC function that removes eroded soil from the soil layers. The tool wants to remove a specific amount of soil (by weight) from the soil patch down to a specific depth. So a portion of each soil layer according to that amount and depth is removed from one soil patch and held in the tool. This includes all the soil quantities: organic matter, nutrients, sand, silt, and clay, rocks. Then when the soil is placed in the other soil patch, it is dumped on the top of the soil, in the top soil layer. Since the top soil layer is always ten millimeters thick, any excess in that layer is moved into the second soil layer.
