Garden with Insight v1.0 Help: probability

The probability of an event is the likelihood or chance of its occurrence. For a more complete description of probability, see a statistics or mathematics textbook. In this simulation, any probability ranges from zero to one (but in a few cases, from zero to one hundred); zero means the event cannot happen, one means the event must happen, and between these extremes the event becomes more likely as the probability approaches one.

The simulation implements events occurring with some probability by choosing a number at random from a uniform distribution from zero to one. If the chosen number is smaller than the probability, the event occurs.
