Garden with Insight v1.0 Help: relative


Internal equations in this simulation work in units of mass relative to unit area, as in kilograms per square meter of soil area. This allows the equations to scale easily to small or large soil patches. If an aspect says relative, it means that the amount shown is in relation to the area of the soil patch (for plants, the amount is in relation to the area of the soil patch it is on).
