Garden with Insight v1.0 Help: How to make the tool pictures smaller

If you are using a small garden, either because you have a small backdrop picture, or because you don't want to use much memory or screen space, you may find that the tools are just huge. Or the garden on your backdrop looks like it is far away, but the tools look as big as trees. In these cases you can use one of the special small tool files.

Garden with Insight includes four tool files. (If you don't find all of these tool files with your version, you might have to obtain some of the tool files separately -- check our download page for details.)

tool file size colors
tools.too large 256
tools_sm.too small 256
tools16.too large 16
tools16s.too small 16
The small tool files contain tools that are one-quarter the size of normal tools (half the width, half the height). To use a small tool file, choose Tools from the Edit menu on the garden window. In the tool editor that appears, click Load, then choose either tools_sm.too or tools16s.too from the file dialog that appears, then click OK. You will be back in the tool editor with one of the small tools showing. Click OK to accept the new tool file and return to the garden window.
